On September 16th, KW Professional Organizers was invited to give a talk about Home Technology to a Computer Club for Mature Adults called Bits and Bytes.
It’s a FREE initiative in the Waterloo Region and anybody over 50 years old can join. Find more info below:
What is Bits and Bytes?
The Bits and Bytes Computer Club is a progressive, not for profit, group for adults aged 50 years or better who wish to gain a better understanding of computers. The club supports participant-paced learning in a flexible, low cost format. Initiated in 1989 with a single computer, the club is now guided by an executive body and provides services for a membership of close to 125 participants! Learning opportunities are available on 10 computers capable of supporting Windows-based programs as well as access to the Internet.
The club also holds monthly speaker meetings and special show and tell sessions, a laptop group for more advanced members. We are also on social media with a Bits and Bytes community forum on Google +.
